Disneyland is a must see in Southern California! Its wonderful for kids as well as adults. If you enjoy theme parks, plan on spending more than one day at the theme parks!
Disneyland opened on July 17, 1955 in ceremonies led by Walt Disney. Currently the park has been visited by more than 515 million guests since it opened, including presidents, royalty and other heads of state. There are mild mannered rides, over priced foods, Disney characters, shows, music, bands, parades and a most spectacular fireworks show.
Christopher and Halleigh have annual passes and enjoy Disneyland and California Adventure often.
Once a boysenberry farm, Knott's Berry Farm is now thrill ride central. It is located less than 20 minutes from both the bride's and groom's home. This is not nearly as child friendly as Disneyland, but a haven for thrill seekers and funnel cake lovers.
Huntington Beach
The quintessential beach city, Huntington Beach is officially Surf City, USA. If has great surf, shopping, and food. Be sure to check out Ruby's at the end of the pier.
Visit the restaurant where it all started! This is where Christopher took Halleigh on their very first date. The couple eat there when ever they have a good excuse to go! They have an amazing wine selection and great food.
